Baking Tech 2006 offers a look at bakery equipment and suppliers
The American Society of Baking is sponsoring BakingTech 2006 at Chicago from
March 5th through the 8th. This year's gathering features 27 seminars
relating to the bakery industry, as well as 180 suppliers representing all
facets of the baking and bakery equipment industry.
Baking Tech 2006 will feature a wide variety of industry professionals from
the baking industry including bakers, baking organizations, companies, equipment
manufacturers and suppliers all coming together to help gain operational
insights and improve efficiencies in the workplace.
According to the ASBE website, a symposium will be held on the first morning
on Equipment Design Strategies for Function and Efficiency. ASB members
from many of the leading baking companies will be participating including
Kroger, Pepperidge Farms, and United States Bakeries.
The registration cost for attending the event
is $ 380 for nonmembers and $ 250 for members. This price includes access
to the opening ceremony, the 27 presentations, the solution center, the
luncheon, leadership forum, Hall of Fame introduction and the ASB Marketplace.
Additionally, any non ASB member that is employed by a baking company is
eligible to attend the for free. Check with the ASB for further details.
